Event Details: Rise Up Cheer Challenge March 15th & 16th, 2025 West Edmonton Mall
Bid Availability & Distribution: 4 At-Large Bids to the Allstar World Championships held in Orlando Florida on April 15th-18th, 2025
To be eligible for a bid, coaches MUST fill out a bid declaration form before February 1st, 2025.
Due to the date of Rise Up and an earlier date for World’s this year teams can ONLY defer their bid to 2026, bids cannot be used for the 2025 event. When deferring the following changes may be made:
1. Can adjust their age up one division (cannot change level). Example: A team receiving a bid as a youth 2 can use the bid the following season as a youth 2 or junior 2. They can not move down a division. 2. Can add or remove athletes as long as teams remain the same size division. Example: teams receiving a bid with 5-22 would be considered a small division. Teams can add or remove athletes, as long as they stay within 5-22 athletes on the team 3. Deferred teams must compete with 50% of the the team that received the bid for that division. If you do not have 50% then you would have to compete in the battle round.
Canadian teams may compete in IASF or the Open Championship Series divisions at the Allstar World Championship. Please follow the link for the OCS Age grid.
Four at large bids will be awarded to the highest scoring teams in the following manner: ● At Large #1 - Highest score in combined U16 / U18 / Open Divisions ● At Large #2 - Highest score in the combined U12 / U8 Divisions ● At Large #3 – Next highest scoring team in combined U16 / U18 / Open Divisions ● At Large #4 – Next highest scoring team in the combined U12 / U8 Divisions
All teams awarded bids to The Allstar Worlds must follow all divisions, age grids, scoring and rules put into place by The Open Championship Series when at The Allstar Worlds event. Please review the Age Guidelines on their website: All Star Worlds Rules & Guidelines **Due to the comparative scoring system in Canada all final scores will be converted to a percentage to allow level 1 teams (no basket toss score) and all non-tumbling teams equal opportunities for bids.
